We are a group of highly-trained Registered Dietitian-Nutritionists and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionists with specialties ranging from prenatal nutrition to pediatric nutrition to eating disorders.
Though our backgrounds and experiences are diverse, we all share the same expert nutrition knowledge and passion for helping others transform their lives through food and lifestyle change.
Leah Wolofsky, MS, RD, CDN, Esq,
Leah Wolofsky is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, licensed NYS attorney, and an authority in the area of dietetics-nutrition practice and the law.
She started Boro Park Nutrition (now more broadly called The Dietitian Group) from counseling clients out of her living room back in 2014. Her warm, friendly and down-to-earth personality grew an overwhelming clientele and soon led her to expand the business and hire other dietitians.
Leah is a nationally-renowned expert in the area of the practice of nutrition and the law and nutrition practice regulation both within and across state lines as well as in CDR credentialing standards and guidelines.
She is also an accomplished author and speaker. Her speaking engagements have included many well-known dietetic internship programs, college campuses, and community organizations. She has authored her first book, A Brand New You (Menucha Publishers) in 2018.
Leah’s mission is to ensures the dietitian group remains true to its vision no matter how big it grows—to provide a personal non-intimidating atmosphere to help clients surpass their nutritional goals.
When not counseling clients or running the business, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Dina Schachter, RDN, CDN
Dina Schachter is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, a New York State certified dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of the Priority Nutrition Care Dietetic Internship program.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Dina worked as a secretary in a medical office. She also worked with individuals with disabilities through Ohel/Bais Ezra. She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals through nutrition counseling and motivating clients to make changes.
When not counseling clients, Dina can be found cooking/baking, traveling/hiking, spending time with family and friends, etc.
Brochi Newman, CDN, CPT
Brochi Newman is a highly-respected, results-driven, New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. She has over 8 years of experience servicing adults and children in the Orthodox Jewish Community. Her areas of expertise include weight management, thyroid management, pediatric nutrition, and pre and postnatal nutrition.
In addition, Brochi is a Personal Trainer certified by the American College of Sports Medicine who incorporates exercise and personal training in her approach to achieve and maintain total-wellness.
Brochi resides in the Five-Towns with her husband, two sons and a daughter, and a turtle named Spike.
Elana Sturm MS, RDN, CDN
Elana Sturm is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, a New York State certified dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of Brooklyn College with a Master of Science in Nutrition.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Elana completed her dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she then began her career working as a clinical dietitian. She specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, diabetes and pediatric nutrition and is passionate about helping others disconnect from a history of disordered eating, in order to begin a new healthy lifestyle centered around balance, moderation and body positivity.
When not counseling clients, you can find Elana whipping up something tasty in the kitchen, staying active with dance and yoga, playing guitar or piano, or traveling on a new adventure with a good book in tow.
Karen Wright, CNS, CDN, MSHNFM
Karen Wright is a New York state certified dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of University of Western States with a Master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine.
In addition to being part of Boro Park Nutrition team, Karen works as a nutritionist at Metro Integrative Pharmacy. Her experience includes working with the fireman, police officers and rescue workers affected by September 11th World Trade Center attacks. She is passionate about helping people transform their health through delicious foods, movement and by detoxifying their living environment.
Karen specializes in environment and functional nutrition and is the author of the book “Is It Mold? A Holistic Approach to Managing a Commonly Overlooked Condition.” Karen actively researches the role that toxins play in the health and seeks solutions to resolve those issues.
When not counseling clients, Karen can be found folding modular origami or continuing with her professional studies.
Chaya Sara Klug/Lehmann, RDN, CDN
Chaya Sara Klug is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, a New York State certified dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of Brooklyn College.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Chaya Sara worked as a piano and vocal instructor. She has experience in Diabetes and Celiac disease. She is passionate about helping people achieve their health and weight goals.
When not counseling clients, Chaya Sara can be found reading and spending time with family.
Benjamin Weil, MS, RD, CDN
Benjamin “Binyomin” Weil is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, a New York State certified dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of Brooklyn College’s Masters In Nutrition program
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, he was an outpatient dietitian at Staten Island University Hospital. In addition to working for The Dietitian Group he works at Northwell Health Medical Genetics where he works with people with genetic disorders requiring specialized diets. He specializes in diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and disordered eating. He is passionate about helping people make eating enjoyable and nurturing.
When not counseling clients, Benjamin can be found spending time with his family and making homemade yogurt.
Kelli Brody, MS, RDN
Kelli Brody is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and a graduate of Northern Illinois University for her Masters Degree.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Kelli gained experience as a Dietitian at a skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn. She specializes in mindful and intuitive eating as well as diabetes counseling. She is passionate about helping people, namely women, heal their relationship with food. Kelli practices a non-judgmental, inclusive approach, embracing all body shapes and sizes, gender identities, abilities, and orientations.
When not counseling clients, Kelli can be found jogging at her local park, downtown trying out a new restaurant, or at home cuddling with her cat, Nori.
Jenna-Ann Del Borrello, MS, RDN, CDN
Jenna-Ann Del Borrello is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, a New York State certified dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of Brooklyn College for her Master's degree.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Jenna worked in private practice and continues to work in the clinical setting providing medical nutrition therapy to a wide range of patients. She specializes in promoting a well rounded approach to weight loss/maintenance; sports nutrition and exercise; diabetes management, and prevention/maintenance of cardiovascular disease and lipid disorders such as high cholesterol. She is passionate about helping clients find sustainable ways to achieve their goals in order to promote long term success.
When not counseling clients, Jenna can be found on her Peloton bike or taking a strength training class, creating new meal prep ideas with her husband or planning her next travel adventure!
Michelle Wolff, RDN, CDN
Michelle Wolff is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, a New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist and a graduate of University of North Florida.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Michelle interned at Boro Park Center, a rehabilitation facility and as a writer and editor for a nutrition news magazine.
She specializes in eating disorders and intuitive eating. She is passionate about helping others find food freedom and discover the joy of eating again.
When not counseling clients, Michelle can be found trying a new restaurant, writing or hanging out with her dog Beau.
Sima Zilberberg, RD
Sima Zilberberg is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, and a graduate of The University of Alabama and NutrasourceRD dietetic internship.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Sima interned in long-term and acute care facilities was a nutrition counselor for three years. She specializes in counseling children, adults, and seniors. She is passionate about helping people live healthier lives.
When not counseling clients, Sima can be found cooking in the kitchen and spending time with her family.
Racheli Gershenfeld, RD
Racheli Gershenfeld is a registered dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of University of Alabama and Wellness Workdays Dietetic Internship Program.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Racheli had extensive clinical exposure at another nutrition private practice in Lakewood as well as at the Leisure Chateau Care and Rehabilitation, and ShopRite Dietitian Services. She specializes in weight loss counseling. She is passionate about nutrition, and promotes a holistic approach to eating. She cares sincerely for her clients and aims to promote their overall wellness through correct eating and diet. She strives to provide the support and the calm space that they need to feel confident to gain control.
When not counseling clients Rachel can be found spending time with her family and laughing with her 2 adorable little boys . She also loves the outdoors and can be found strolling around the neighborhood whether rain or shine.
Rebecca (Rivky) Reich, RD
Rebecca Reich is a registered dietitian-nutritionist and a graduate of Brooklyn College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Nutrition Sciences. She completed her dietetic internship at Hunter College. During her internship, Rebecca gained valuable experience in pediatric nutrition education, medical nutrition therapy, and private practice counseling.
Prior to joining The Dietitian Group, Rebecca was a biology tutor and teacher’s assistant to children with developmental disabilities. She now uses her love of teaching to educate clients on how to make nutrition simple, sustainable and enjoyable. She specializes in pediatric nutrition education, diabetes counseling, and a Health at Every Size approach to nutrition. She is passionate about helping people add joy and creativity to their eating experiences, while removing the fear and stress that often comes from restrictive dieting.
When not counseling clients, Rebecca can be found drawing, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and experimenting with new recipes.
